Improving New Employee Learning about Your Safety Culture from Day One

Date: Thursday, January 25, 2018

Time: 10:30 AM Eastern Standard Time

Duration: 1 hour

Summary

According to the BLS Data, over 30% of lost time injuries occur to employees with less than one year of employment with their organization. A recent PMA study of large losses revealed over 20% of these injuries were to first year employees!  Stats like this elevate your orientation or onboarding process to the top line of your safety efforts. In this highly recommended, repeat session, expect candid discussions about how employees learn (anything), how they assess your safety culture and key ways to strengthen the alignment of your safety mission with your onboarding process.
